Eeee, okay, I’m pretty sure vocals/lyrics have been added to “Lost My Heart In Republic City” before, but I really wanted to try my own take on it because it’s one of my favorite songs that played throughout the first season of Korra. The Track Team really outdid themselves with this one!!
I tried to accomplish a few things with it: 1) give the vocals depth and a jazzy texture to match the instrumental melody line and mood, and 2) keep the lyrics neutral – fit ALL the ships if you’d so like, haha! So I hope I succeeded there. But seriously, I really loved working on this, so I hope you guys enjoy it! :)
